BRIGGS family - Loudoun& Fauquier counties, VA

My great grandparents Dennis WILLIAMS & Mariah Luella PAYNE had a son named Edwin Asa Williams b. 24 Jun 1892, in Loudoun.  

Asa - or "Acie" as he was called, married Mary C, JACKSON,  b. 06 Mar 1893 in Loudoun, the daughter of John Eli JACKSON and Julia BRIGGS in Loudoun.  They were married on 14 Nov 1912, in Loudoun.

They had a child - and I have not yet discovered the name of the child - or where they went after 1917, because Asa registered for the draft in Loudoun in 1917, but is not in Loudoun in 1920

 I suspect they may have moved to Montclair NJ and am still attempting to locate them in 1920 and 1930 census records.  I know that he was still living after 1920, because of family oral history.

I suspect that there are more connections to my family - since many of the descendants are also named JACKSON and I have many Loudoun Jackson ties as well. 

This is a new line I am attempting to trace. 

I find the BRIGGS family in both Loudoun and Fauquier in early census records - probably because the section of Loudoun they lived in bordered Fauquier so the distinctions are fuzzy. 

NOTE: It is important when doing family research to check neighboring counties for records.
