Bodine's, Schriner's and Nocks
Many thanks to Eddie Wilson, my new found cousin, for sending me the following pictures and other items. Benjamin Bodine, our gr gr grandfather was married three times. His third wife, Elisabeth Nocks raised my great grandfather George Emerson Bodine (father of my grandmother Mabel) and she and Benjamin had a daughter Allie May.
Elisabeth Nocks was born 07 Jan 1831 in Dearborn County Indiana.
According to information received from Nocks researcher Diane Bockhorst, her parents were "Eben" (Ebenezer) Nocks and Lucy Hall from Maine.
She was married briefly to RP Robbins in 1852, who died in 1855.
I believe that the Robbins she married was in neighboring Dearborn county:

After the death of Robbins, she retuned to live with her parents. This is backed up by census of 1860 where we find the widowed Elisabeth living in this household:

Eddie Wilson writes about this photo " This is the house where Benjamin, Elisabeth and Allie May all died. It is about three miles from the cemetery in Excelsior."
